We’re a family based in the UK. We’re starting this blog to help us meet our family and financial goals and provide a safe and stable future for our family.

‘We’ own our own house, we have two young children (with another on the way), a dog and run one family sized vehicle.

‘He’ works in marketing and brings home a reasonable salary, works long hours and enjoys weekends off to spend time with the kids.

‘She’ is a dedicated mother who gave up work in social services to concentrate on raising our lovely family.

‘We’ both went to university, got good degrees and straight into the careers we wanted. However we had a considerable financial hangover which we are working to reduce . . . we’re getting there  . . . slowly but surely.
